After 30+ years as a Professional Makeup Artist working on various film and tv sets, she has a wealth of knowledge that she would love to share with the new generation. This applies to working with other Makeup Artists/Hairstylists and other industry professionals. You must know your place and how to travel a road in a tricky industry. This also applies to working with agencies, bridal teams or starting your own makeup artistry company.

Whether your goal is to work with Brides or Celebrities this is a great opportunity to learn how to create looks with the proper techniques. Learn how to acquire more brides, luxury brides, high end clientele or celebrities. This is a hands on makeup and hair workshop that you can choose to do one or both days. Bridal business education will be taught on both days of the workshop. Taught by Veteran Makeup Artist Sharon Tabb!
Sharon owned ‘So Cal Makeup and Hair’ doing brides in Beverly Hills, San Diego and even Palm Springs. She had a team of over twelve artists that she worked with for more than 15 years! When she relocated to Oklahoma in 2011 she had the first on site bridal beauty business called ‘The Makeup Room Agency’. Where she also did destination weddings traveling to New York and Mexico, and more. After 2 decades of brides she is wants to share her wealth of knowledge and share with you her lessons along the way. Jump Start and expand your business!
January 21st and 22nd (Artists can take one or both days.)
- Day 1: Bridal Makeup Artistry (January 21)
- How to prep to the skin and create a luxury experience
- Various skin conditions and how to quickly problem solve should a skin issue arise. Never fails unexpected skin issues happen on a wedding or picture day.
- How to do the proper foundation technique and concealing in a way to gain the high end and luxury bride.
- Lash techniques/ custom lash work.
- Classic vs trendy looks.
- 3 - 5 solid makeup looks. (This will depend how long it takes to master each look, we will be fine tuning and doing detail work)
- Bridal business: how to build a bridal business, promoting, building relations with vendors, becoming preferred wedding vendor, bridal agreements/contracts. Building your team and subcontracting artists.
- Models provided. If you wanted to provide one it would be on a case by case basis. Models can not be a makeup or hair stylist.
Investment $350 (special introductory pricing) for the hands on makeup workshop, or $650 for both.

- Day 2 Bridal Hair Styling (January 22)
- Hands on hair styling for weddings / special event.
- How to prep hair
- How to set the hair using the best styling products, tools
- Learn hair tie tricks, secure and hide bobby and hair pins.
- Includes a doll head for class and to take home for you to continue to practice (you will need to provide your own styling tools and supplies, but if you are missing items let us know)
Investment $350 (special introductory pricing) for the hair hands on workshop, or $650 for both workshops.

We have limited spaces available, it’s a first come first serve basis.
Deposit $100 to hold your spot.
½ down by December 31.
Remaining balance due to by January 15.
NO REFUNDS, but if canceled funds will apply to the next class, or store credit. Your spot is transferable to another student should you not be able to attend.
